Chad Barker
Chad Barker serves as President of Henderson Products. Barker has more than 20 years of experience at Douglas Dynamics across engineering, operations, product development, and executive leadership, with a focus on driving operational performance and delivering customer-focused solutions.
Throughout his career with Douglas Dynamics, Barker has held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President and General Manager of Henderson Products, Vice President, DDX; Director of Operations – Installation for Henderson Products; and Supervisor of Technical Service for Western Products. His experience strengthening operational performance, advancing long-term growth initiatives, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across multi-site operations has strengthened the company’s operational capabilities and supported its growing leadership in the work truck industry.
Barker began his career in engineering and product development, leading new product initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts that improved safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design from Gateway Technical College. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt.
